About Kelly

Kelly Carvalho is a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Nutrition Specialist  and Yoga Instructor who is passionate about helping others achieve their best health. She brings warmth, understanding, and a personalized approach to every client she meets—believing that true wellness starts with listening, empathy, and practical support.

With her background in nutrition and human services, Kelly has developed a strong reputation for her resourcefulness, compassion, and dedication to improving lives. She works closely with individuals across all walks of life, with a special focus on women’s health, children, adolescents, older adults, and those managing psychological, physical, social, or emotional challenges.


Kelly is known for her excellent interpersonal skills and her ability to make clients and their families feel heard and supported. She takes pride in creating a safe, judgment-free space where each person can discover realistic and sustainable ways to improve their well-being.

When she’s not working with clients, Kelly enjoys practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, cooking healthy meals, exploring new wellness trends, and connecting with friends and family. 


She values balance, mindfulness, and continuous learning—principles she brings into both her personal life and professional practice.

I was inspired to become a Clinical Nutrition Specialist by her passion for helping others discover the powerful connection between nutrition, health, and emotional well-being. 


My favorite part about working with clients is witnessing their growth and confidence as they begin to feel better and take charge of their health.


My approach to nutrition counseling is rooted in functional nutrition, focusing on discovering and addressing the underlying causes of health concerns rather than just treating symptoms.


One myth I wish more people understood is that there’s a single “perfect” diet that works for everyone. In reality, each person’s body and lifestyle are unique—what nourishes one individual might not work for another—which is why I focus on creating personalized, functional nutrition plans that truly fit each client’s needs.


My favorite healthy snack is a handful of mixed nuts with fresh berries. It’s the perfect balance of protein, healthy fats, and natural sweetness—keeping me energized and satisfied between meals.


I stay motivated to live a healthy lifestyle by focusing on how good I feel when I take care of my body and mind. Practicing yoga regularly helps me stay energized, balanced, and strong, and reminds me that small, consistent choices each day truly make a big difference.


My advice for someone starting their wellness journey is to start small and be patient with yourself. Focus on making manageable changes, listen to your body, and remember that wellness is a lifelong journey—every positive step, no matter how small, adds up over time.
